About Wildscape by Puru

Photography that listens before it shoots.

Wildscape by Puru is a wildlife and nature photography practice built around one idea: the best images come from patience and respect. My work focuses on birds and wildlife in their natural habitats, from the wetlands of Delhi NCR to the sanctuaries of Sultanpur and Bharatpur.
I don’t chase trophy shots. I wait for behaviour, light and the quiet moment when an animal forgets the lens is there. The result is imagery that is true to the wild and also carries a story.

Our Story

From Passion Project to Portfolio

Wildscape by Puru began with a simple habit: heading out before sunrise with a camera and no fixed expectations. What started as a personal pursuit has grown, season by season and frame by frame, into a portfolio shared with nature lovers and photography enthusiasts, and recognised in photography circles.
Today it is both an archive of what I’ve witnessed and an invitation for others to look more closely at the natural world that exists, often unnoticed, at the edges of our cities.

Why Choose Us

A Different Way of Seeing Wildlife

Explore the distinctive qualities that set our wildlife photography apart from the rest.

Authentic Connections

No baiting, no staging. I photograph wildlife as it truly lives, which means unhurried observation and respect for the animal’s space.

Visual Storytelling

A good photograph shows what an animal looks like. A great one shows what it is doing, feeling or surviving. I compose for emotion and narrative, not just sharpness.

Conservation Awareness

Every image is a reminder of what’s at stake. Through my work, I aim to build appreciation for wetlands, grasslands and the species that depend on them, and to inspire people to protect them.
